No one is allowed to give negative feedback/comments on another's application, period. Next time anyone does something like this, you will be issued one warning. Let's just say you don't want five warnings.

We do not have a set date and time for when GM's will be chosen. We do not even know how many GM's we are seeking at the moment. But rest assured, we WILL need GM's in the very, very, very near future. ;] Submitting your Application helps!

Yes, that's RIGHT. We are accepting GM applications! *insert dramatic music here*

However, (yes..a HOWEVER!) we definately do not need more GM's than players. Therefore, we will only begin handing out GM powers to people once we have a larger amount of players.

BUT, submitting your GM applications DO help your case, as we will have time to think it over. ;]

We are not giving you a template for how to submit your applications. Creating one yourself will show us a little more about you.

Remember - RECRUITING PLAYERS IS A GOOD THING! Praise your lovely soul for recruiting players.

Now, here's a little something more!

The more players you recruit, the better chance for you to get GM!

To show us that you have recruited players, in your application, please include the IGN of the player you recruited, and have them post in your GM application "I, (IGN of recruited player), was recruited to ToastyMS by (your IGN + Forum name)."

Do not lie. The only result you will get is us losing trust in you. Each person is permitted [b]one (1) sibling sharing the same ID address/computer. Any others will not count toward your recruited crew, but we love more players!<3

Btw, any questions you have about GM/GM Applications or anything of the sort, you can post here, and they will be answered to the best of our abilities.

UPDATE NOV . 08: Ah. I see many of you are saying "reply asap please" Ah. We. As I said, it's not sure when GM's will be decided. Therefore, it is impossible to immediately answer "LALA OH YOU YOU AND YOU ARE IN. YOU YOU AND YOU ARE TOTALLY NOT JOINING GM'ZZZ" Er...Something similar to that. When GM's will be selected, you will be notified. Just not now, at this moment. Don't expect many replies unless it's conversation, or you were an exception or something. No, you will not be told before hand that you are accepted--rejected, maybe, but not accepted. If nothing is said you can assume you were not rejected yet, but still. not. accepted.

OKAY, people. As stated before, above, writing your own GM application tells us more about you. If someone steals your application, don't worry because that doesn't matter, as long as you are the original GM application creator person, you'll get credit for it. Creating your own application shows us you are more...I'm not quite sure at the moment but it's a good thing. SO DON'T WORRY.

Criticism is an integral part of improving as a GM, even harsh criticism is helpful in the long run. I would have thought that you would have known by now that humans learn from their mistakes. If someone makes a mistake and no-one is there to point it out, then that person will continue to make the same mistake.
If some criticism is extremely unnecessary, if maybe people are arbitrarily flinging insults at each other with no concrete or even coherent evidence, only then should such measures be introduced and exercised upon the perpetrators.
You don't need to be too harsh. People should be able to speak their minds. If an application is short, then let someone say that it is short. It is what helps people improve. Only the posts with incorrect grammar, and crude ad hominem attacks are the ones which should be discouraged.

Obviously. But since these applicants are just applicants, seeing how they write their own application says quite a bit about them. Tells us a lot. And remember that other people submitting their own applications will see the comments by others, and they may use this as a guideline for their own applications. (that word is sounding so weird now D; ) If they were to base theirs on the comments of others, their application would show us not about the applicant, but the ones s/he copied off of.

Applications are supposed to tell us more about themselves, not just the fact that they have the ability to use others' comments and critique to build up their own; that's not enough.

And yes, they should be able to speak their minds. But that's why there are several other parts to this forum. They can discuss wherever they want, so long as it's reasonable, and it is not on eachother's applications.

It's not that they aren't allowed to speak their minds or improve themselves by the help of others, it's that by being helped with their applications they are not relying on their own intelligence, opinions, or their abilities.

And yeah, I was harsh. I was in a piss poor mood, was sick, and fell asleep in a restaurant (something I hadn't done since like, 8 years old.)

But wouldn't that be unfair to people who deserve to be GM's but haven't played ToastyMS much?Or someone that joined the forums a long time ago but couldn't log into game(for some reason o.o''..)?
